How to Split a PDF
Choose Split Mode
Pick “Split into pages” to get one PDF per page, or “Extract ranges” to pull out exactly the pages you name.
Select Pages to Extract
In range mode, enter pages as comma-separated pages and ranges, for example 1-3, 5, 8-10.
Download Split PDFs
Click Split. Pages mode downloads a ZIP of one PDF per page; range mode downloads a single PDF with the pages you chose.
Benefits of Splitting PDFs
Splitting lets you share only the pages that matter. Send the two-page excerpt, not the forty-page report.
Extracting specific pages also lets you rebuild a document from pieces, which is handy when you only need part of a file for a new project.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the two split modes?
“Split into pages” creates one small PDF per page and packages them in a ZIP. “Extract ranges” pulls the pages you name — e.g. 1-3, 5, 8-10 — into one new PDF.
What syntax can I use for page ranges?
Comma-separated pages and ranges, for example 1-3,5,8-10. Single pages and ranges can be mixed freely.
Does splitting change the original file?
No. Your original PDF is never modified — the tool produces new files and leaves the source untouched.
