How to Merge PDF Files on Mac Without Uploading Them
You can combine PDFs on a Mac without installing an editor or sending your documents to an upload service. PDFmuto reads the files in your browser, lets you set their order, and creates one new PDF on your device.

Steps
Open the Merge PDF tool
Open PDFmuto in Safari, Chrome, or another current browser on your Mac.
Add the PDF files
Drop the files into the tool or browse to them in Finder. The files stay in the browser tab.
Arrange the files
Move each file up or down until the document order is correct.
Download the merged PDF
Choose Merge and download the new PDF. Your original files remain unchanged.
When to merge PDFs on a Mac
Merge PDFs when a report, application, or evidence bundle is spread across several files. One ordered document is easier to print, archive, and share.
A browser tool also helps when you are using a managed Mac and cannot install another application.
Keep the page order under control
The order of the files determines the order of their pages. Put a cover letter first, follow it with the supporting documents, and check the list before downloading.
If the source pages need a different sequence, use Reorder PDF after merging.
